Is it an easy transition from bodybuilding to MMA?
I've been bodybuilding for about 4 years, good strength and flexibility, cardio is good because I come from a consolidation phase for the winter. How is the passage of the MMA gyms? Can they? I have no fights / capture / background I've been taken in the life BB naturally I am not free of steroids a monstrous 250 Behemoth. You can see my profile picture to see how I look.
Depends on the person and the quality of education, I think. Martial arts, including limitations and MMA shows some aspects that are contrary to what a normal athlete to think or understand. I give the example of the position and number programs have been slow, static stretching rate and the type of couple, but extends to athletics for many years in this country were always doing things of age while the martial arts community have been adopted and embraced such slow static stretching. Students like you sometimes have trouble understanding and accepting these things because they are very programmed. My best advice and what I say to new students like you is that you learn to use your body, muscles and mind different from what is normally and belief. Once a student is conscious and starts to neglect the old way of looking at things or how and to embrace the new things easier to implement. Another example is the balance and foot work and most people have what they think good balance and can move normally. Martial arts requires a lot more than people and will soon begin to realize how pathetic they are. What that's not bad that something like this can be further developed and strengthened. The downside is that if the student refuses to try to develop or think you can not. So keep an open mind, be willing to accept a new approach to certain things and aspects, and listen to work hard, maintain a positive attitude and learn and progress faster than otherwise.
