A thought on UFC and Trolls?
Do you think any of these Trolls who come in here talking about UFC actually know anything about MMA?
I’m a wrestling fan(and a regular here in this section) but also I am a fan of MMA and have been following K-1 and Pride since 2000 when I was living in Japan and UFC here, that being said why do I get the feeling that these trolls aren’t even real MMA fans and only know what UFC is because they been watching SPIKE for 2 years while chugging down energy drinks and “rocking ” their tribal design t-shirt they bought from TAP-OUT? Are these trolls UFC posers?
Im guessing those people do not, in fact if you ask them who Bas Rutten or Royce Gracie is they will not have a clue.
They probably have names like “CHUcK L!DD3LL IS GAWD~!!!” or “TITO 4 LIFE”, then again thats the risk you run when you hit mainstream – Idiot posers.
Most of them probably have never seen a UFC event over 50, hell half of them probably dont know anything but UFC. As you mentioned PRIDE, K-1, WEC (Faber is a beast by the way, so is Miguel Torres). Also some of them havent even heard of Affliction or HDFightNet (Cuban’s thing).
Funny thing, what the UFC is experiecing now is what the Attitude era was for us wrestling fans (im an MMA fan too) but this is kinda what happened then – Everyone had ‘The Rock’ posters and created websites like www.st0nec0ldHELLYEAH.com.
To answer your question, the MMA fans stay in the MMA section as they know what they are talking about, the ones over in the Wrestling Section are just bangwagon fans who pick the most obvious flaw in anything “OMG Wr3$tl!ng FAKE!!!”.
